Audit Associate

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform audit activities in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Analyze financial data to identify potential issues and discrepancies Develop audit plans and procedures to ensure accurate data collection
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports Manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve internal processes
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of audit standards and regulations
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients Prepare audit reports and other documentation
• Monitor client compliance with audit standards and regulations Remain current on changes in the accounting and audit industry
• Consult with clients to ensure their accounting processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Experienced in audit (3-5 years)         
• Senior to low level manager exp          
• Condominium and HOA experience would be a huge bonus          
• We use CCH engagement for our audit software (huge plus)         
• $80-$115k based on experience, industry knowledge, and audit software history     
• Bachelors or higher in Accounting or related field

Experience from Top Accounting Firms are highly recommended.

Salary: $80,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year plus Bonus
