Carmen Rodriguez, a dedicated wife and mother of three amazing daughters, embarked on her remarkable recruiting journey in 1989. Her career began at a healthcare recruiting firm, where seasoned professionals took her under their wing, imparting invaluable wisdom about the intricacies of the recruiting industry.
Carmen’s unwavering passion and commitment propelled her to ascend through the ranks, eventually managing multiple branches. Throughout her career, Carmen faced and conquered significant challenges, including navigating the aftermath of the September 11th, 2001 tragedies and the economic downturn in 2008 that impacted many Staffing and Recruiting companies. She displayed remarkable resilience and determination that characterize her spirit.
In 2009, Carmen transitioned into the corporate world, relishing the experience of collaborating with larger corporations. Starting at the entry level, she diligently worked her way up to become a Vice President. Upon reaching her full potential in the corporate arena, Carmen decided to forge her own path and established Direct Connections Recruiting. As the President and CEO, she now spearheads a thriving recruiting business that embodies her vision and values. What sets her journey apart is her enduring connection with the extensive network she meticulously built and maintained over the years.
